JBL Control 23-1 Ultra-Compact Indoor/Outdoor Speaker
The JBL Control 23-1 is an ultra-compact indoor/outdoor background and foreground speaker designed for clear, wide-coverage sound in commercial and professional audio installations. Its two-way design combines a 3-inch woven-fiberglass woofer with a 0.5-inch PEI diaphragm tweeter, delivering balanced music and speech reproduction in a compact enclosure.
With 100° × 100° wide coverage, 50W continuous pink-noise power, 100W continuous program power and up to 200W peak power, the JBL Control 23-1 is suitable for background music, paging and foreground audio applications.
The speaker features a built-in 70V/100V multi-tap transformer, making it practical for distributed audio systems in restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, health clubs and other commercial spaces. Its HIPS enclosure, powder-coated grille and environmental protection make it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations where compact size and dependable performance are important.
